Hi!

I'm Vera, I'm from the Netherlands and born at the end of 1994. I enjoy reading, music (singing and listening), taking a walk around my neighbourhood, playing games on my phone or my laptop, chocolate, tea, various creative endeavours and coding, among other things. Since early 2025 I rent my own apartment with a great view over a canal. It completely feels like home but at the same time I'm still constantly adding 'finishing touches'. Well I guess that process never really stops :)

I tend to stay at home, though I do like traveling. In 2019 I studied in Ireland for 4 months and I also toured with my student choir. I studied Communication & Media design and graduated in November 2022. Then I worked as treasurer on the board of my student choir for a year, where I had a great time. I currently work as an information management trainee.

Languages: Dutch (native), English (fluent), ~~Irish/German/French a tiny bit~~

Video games I enjoy: Nikki series (Shining Nikki and Infinity Nikki); Age of Empires 2; Stardew Valley; Townscaper; Nonogram Katana, Strange Horticulture

Music I enjoy: A lot! But almost all of it more on the alternative side. I don't really have anything against pop music but I never listen to the radio and my Spotify algorithm rarely servers it either, so more popular music rarely crosses my path except at the dentist :) I like folk, and rock, and electronic, and classical, and singer-songwriter, and music from all over the world, and I love music in many different languages I don't speak. I mostly listen to modern music (that is: from the past 20 years, skewing towards newer).
