Profile
I'm an interpreter/assistant site manager working in the wind turbine industry building new turbines in Tohoku. My wife and I just had our first baby. This year in my free time I've been reading lots of Japanese poetry collections by different authors. Good biographies about historical figures also interest me. There was a Sci-Fi novel series by Stephen R. Donaldson called "The Gap" that I liked. I passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 three years ago. I'm interested in learning another language (my top two choices are Korean, Spanish, or Arabic). I've studied Korean, Greek, ASL, Spanish, and Arabic a little bit in the past, but I wasn't able to keep studying. I like building things. I used to make costumes out of cardboard, build plastics models, Legos, repairing my bike, and build other random things. I have a soldering iron that I used to switch out the battery on an old Pokémon Crystal cartridge I had. I like fixing things. I would like items that would help me at work like a rechargeable petzl headlight for my helmet, carabineers, or other items that would help in the wind industry. Recently I've gotten into woodworking (I made my baby's crib from scratch).
