I love science and teach it. Over the past few years, I’ve tried to travel more, whether by driving to a new town or flying to a new city. During my travels, I always visit a museum or a local aquarium. I enjoy learning about the history of different places and seeing where important events took place.

I like to try new recipes when I cook, and I read a lot on my Kindle. My favorite book genres are romance and suspense. I also enjoy watching sports and support the Seattle Seahawks and the San Antonio Spurs. Some of my favorite movies are "Remember the Titans," "Miracle on 34th Street," and "Home Alone" (1 and 2).

Right now, I’m working to reduce waste by using sustainable, environmentally friendly products. I am also trying new cleaning supplies. I want to become more organized. I collect cool science gadgets, t-shirts, reusable bags, and keychains.

I love trying new things and enjoy snacks that are spicy and sweet or sweet and salty. I support the Autism Speaks Foundation and appreciate their work.
