I am a Dutch woman in my late thirties, I live in Utrecht in the Netherlands.

I am single with no kids, but I love spending time with my 3 year old niece and 1,5 years old nephew. She is getting to the age that she can learn how to play games and we can do arts and crafts together. He is obsessed with climbing, but he's also starting to get more interested in books, especially if they make sounds. My brother in law speaks English, so there are books in both Dutch and English in their house.

I love reading and watching movies. Sci-fi, fantasy and young adult are my favoriete genres, my favorite author is Janet Edwards. I love things with a magical feel to it, like magical creatures or special powers. I have an e-reader, which I prefer to use over reading physical books.

I have had bariatric surgery to lose weight and that was very successful. I'm really happy with my new figure and how much energy I have now! I had already joined a folk dance group, but now I'm also doing pilates and something called Stretching & Relaxing. The one downside is that I get cold all the time now, so I'm wearing a lot of layers and really enjoy going to the sauna! I still love snacks by the way, so feel free to send me something sweet. But I can't eat a lot, so I'd rather get something small instead of a big box full.

I have a collection of tin fairies and ty beanie boos, but since I currently have so much I can't get them all visibly displayed, maybe don't send more. I also have a collection of earrings with hooks (not studs) and those I can always use more of! I like necklaces as well, lately I've been leaning towards metal chokers.

I adore baby animals, beautiful wrapping paper and the feeling of Christmas. I usually do a couple of exchanges at the same time, so please write down what exchange your gift is for. I also love it when people wrap their gifts and add a card or personal note to it, but I get that's not for everybody. So no hard feelings if you don't.
