Thank you gifter! I love the Sanrio cards. Where did you get them from?! And the notebook is so cute. My advice is the best way to make friends is to do a hobby/class/group then you have a shared interest so the conversation is easier. The dance class might be good for that. I find that craft things are good because then you can say things like 'ooh I like how you've done that', 'what do you think of these colours' etc.
